A father's boast that his daughter can spin straw into gold causes a lot of difficulty. Of course the king of the land hears of the boast and orders the father to bring the girl to his kingdom and prove the statement. "What to do. What to do." the girl cries, begs and suddenly one of fairy tales' favorite characters appears -- Rumpelstiltskin, who is only too glad to help out, but he demands a heavy price. Not to worry, it all works out in the end, happily ever after! A combined live actor and puppet show.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

You can smell Willie Wonka's chocolate as you enter the theatre where you'll meet those marvelous characters, Augustus Gloop, Violet Beauregard, Veruca Salt and Mike Teavee. Of course, Charlie and Grandpa Joe wrap it all up into a beautiful delicious bon bon of a show.

Peter and the Wolf
April 24 - May 16

"Everything is calm and quiet," chirps Peter's little bird friend... but then Mr. Wolf pays a visit and the adventures are off and running! It turns out that Mr. Wolf isn't half as scary as people think and e mostly wants to protect the environment and HIMSELF! Featuring music based on Sergei Prokofiev's score, Peter and the Wolf is a modern take on a well-loved classic.

Pinocchio
September 25 - October 10
Saturdays and Sundays at 1:00 PM and 3:30 PM
Here is a brand new production of Carlo Collodi's wonderful tale of the puppet who wishes to be a real-live boy. You'll travel to Pleasure Island and the Marionette Theatre, take a spine thrilling coach ride and join in all Pinocchio's adventures. Commedia dell Arte and plenty of slapstick fun round out this funny fable about the perils of growing up. Includes original music!

Dracula's School for Vampires
October 23 -November 14
Saturdays at 1:00 PM, Sundays at 1:00 PM and 3:30 PM
A zany, funny tale of Dracula and his sister Mandragora returning to their homeland in the Boyo Mountains to establish an elite academy for would be vampires. Two village children Peter and Polya become involved with some of the "students". Music, dance and a wonderful fight scene make this a must for the entire family. Written by Dr. Leonard Wolf for the 1st season of YPT in 1982, we welcome it back!

Join Peter Pan, the boy who wouldn't grow up and Tinkerbell, the impish fairy, on a journey through the stars to Neverland. Complete with pirates, Indians, and plenty of magic, J.M. Barrie's classic story is a wonderful holiday treat for the whole family.
