SHAKESPEARE FOR KIDS!

Ages 10-14

In Shakespeare for Kids young performers get right into the act.  They are encouraged to begin exploring Shakespeare from where he is understood best -- the play itself.  Workshopping a chosen play from the very beginning lets the young actors experience Shakespeare rather than simply talking about him.  Guidance is given for some language, cultural and historical background and costuming, but we are looking for the creativity of the students to emerge!  We will end with a production of a play. Taught by Thomas Talboy who received his degree in Greek Drama from University of Nottingham, England.  Cost: $200

Fridays 4:30-6:00 pm
